Leinster Driving Campus

As part of our Ty programme we went to the Leinster Driving Campus. We were put into groups of 15 and then from within that group we were put into groups of 3. I was in a group with Molly and Aimee.
Our groups were out first in the cars. Our instructor was called Sylvester, he was fab! We each had two 20 minute driving sessions. After we each had driven twice we had a 20 minute lunch break, after break we went into the building to sit a mock theory test. My team got 37 out of the 40 questions right. 
After the test we went all had to put on these drunk goggles and we had to high five the instructor and place a gone on top of another. 
Overall it was a good day and we had loads of fun!!

New York, New York!

As part of our blog challenge I have to write a post about somewhere I would like to visit when I leave School. The place I have chosen to visit is New York.

I would love to visit the Empire State building and the statue of liberty! I'd also spent all of my life savings in Macy's, Bloomingdales and Barneys.

Fashion Show!!

Last Tuesday and Wednesday our school held a fashion show in the Celbridge Manor Hotel. I wasn't modelling so myself and Molly sold our mini co items which were candles. The fashion show was excellent, all the models were fab!! The teachers were also part of the show, they did a performance after the interval which was really funny.

RSA

Last week we had a talk on road safety. Two guards from the road traffic core in naas came to give the talk.

They showed us videos of car crashes and showed us stats and figures on the number of accidents on the roads over the years. The figure have hugely reduced in the past 10 years, which is very good!
